Durante seis meses viajaron por veinte paises del mundo equipados con micrófonos, cámaras y ordenadores captando la increíble riqueza musical y humana presente en América, Europa, Nueva Zelanda, Senegal, Ghana, Uganda, Sudáfrica, India o Tailandia (entre otros lugares). Colaboradores de lujo como Michael Stipe (REM) , Neneh Cherry, Baaba Maal, Speech, Robbie Williams, Michael Franti, Zap Mama, Brian Eno, Asha Bhosle y muchos otros participaron con sus voces y su talento musical en esta gran iniciativa.
Más tarde en el estudio, juntaron las piezas con tal acierto, lucidez y atrevimiento que uno no puede más que quitarse el sombrero, aplaudir...y disfrutar. El resultado es un cd espléndido, (únicamente con la parte musical) y un DVD de 3 horas maravilloso, que resulta ser algo más que un viaje geográfico musical...es toda una experiencia filosófica en búsqueda de la verdadera esencia del ser humano. En 2009 se editó una segunda parte llamada "What about me?" con las mismas premisas.

1 GIANT LEAP is a brilliant multimedia project created by Jamie Catto and Duncan Bridgeman, two musicians/ producers with a single artistic theme: " Unity through diversity".
They travelled Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Oceanía with microphones, cameras and computers during six months trying not only to capture an incredible human and musical diversity but also a fascinating philosophical statement of human mankind.
It also features contributions from Michael Stipe (REM) , Robbie Williams, Neneh Cherry, Baaba Maal, Eno, Speech, Michael Franti, Zap Mama, Asha Bhosle, between many others.
Later on in the studio they picked and put the pieces together with such beauty and skill that you can just clap and enjoy this treasure of thoughtful wisdom : a superb CD and a extraordinary 3 hours lengh DVD, full of hipnotic images, beautiful music and thought provoking spoken testimonies. A second part called "What about me?" was released in 2009.
